I can't pretend to be too fancy. I'm far from being fancy. I live with my dog and copious amounts of dog hair in everything-food, artwork, my lint trap in my dryer. My dog is a corgi, my ESA. His name is Teigr and we live alone, but together. I work in my studio with him everyday. I'm crazy and the dog still puts up with me.
As I've mentioned, I'm crazy as a bat. Hence why I paint and create. It's always been my savior. I have crazy thoughts about things and I know I'm ok as long as the painting knife hits the canvas, or the brush to paper. I've been painting since I could hold a brush. I was diagnosed at age nine with mental illness. It was difficult and made me weary. But I could always draw or paint.
My days now are full of sound and ringing in my ears. Never stops. Only when I'm at my table working on a piece does my mind quiet and the ringing stop. I am addicted to creating since it lets me be part of 'your' world. I work twelve hours a day sometimes. I don't want the time I spend painting to end. I want at the very least, half of a life.
I honestly must say, everything I create and paint has been born out of careful consideration. I don't have any clue how not to have your heart and mind be in a piece of art. Ever...
