Dusan Stankovic

Born in 1986 in Nis, Serbia. I started my artistic career at the age of 14 and furthermore finished Faculty of Art, bachelor and master degree of art in Serbia. During my academic specialization, I worked with various techniques – graphic arts, graphic design, mosaic, mural, fresco painting and other. By dealing with complex themes connected with phenomenon of life, I am experimenting in artistic expression on canvas. Themes that I am processing are very detailed and complex, referring to everything connected with the phenomenon of life: what precedes birth, the birth itself, life cycle and life path of a human, belief in death and spirituality. In a specific way, the universe is presented within my artwork and the place of a human in it. In my work so far, I used various combinations of techniques and materials. Furthermore, I am experimenting with colors, lines and geometry, which are the main characteristics of my artistic expression.

For the last 8 years I am working as a tattoo artist as well.
