Shelley Morrow

I am a UK, Brighton based artist, currently teaching and running life drawing sessions at Draw in Brighton.
My main medium is watercolour and I am inspired by the medium itself. I like the way it behaves as if it has a personality of its own and I enjoy the challenges it presents to me. Its strength and delicacy lends itself towards atmosphere and gesture as well as the simple, ordinary, imperfect and understated. I try to find the balance between free and controlled, order and chaos and work my way forward somewhere between the known and the unknown.
