Alexander Reagan is a Aspen, CO based artist and eco fashion designer. Self-taught, Reagan spent his formative years in Aspen and London, experimenting with materials in his makeshift home studio. Heavily influenced by contemporary street art (as well as his heroes, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Robert Rauschenberg), Reagan gravitated towards large scale multi-medium compositions, often incorporating print and textual elements. At the age of 22, he has already produced over 500 original works. His canvases burst with unbridled dynamism, or as he likes to say, “controlled chaos,” indicative of the pop culture, IPhone –centric world we live in. In addition to visual art, Reagan started the fashion label, Environmentally Conscious Outfitters, where he designs and manufactures sustainable, eco-friendly streetwear.
Activities and Societies: UnCollege helps young people pursue their interests proactively through learning relevant skills and gaining real world experience.
UnCollege is a program that deliberately teaches the soft skills learned in college and develops them during a nine-month gap year for students preparing for the next step in life. It's a three-phase program: international service learning, skill building workshops in SF, and an internship anywhere in the world. All of this is woven together by working with a couch during the program to identify and set personal and professional goals. The result is expedited growth on both levels.
