Alfonso Postigo

I have always been interested in being able to incorporate elements into my work that give realism to each work, so that the viewer can feel it more closely, as if touching it.

I am struck by the communicative power of the texture of the different materials; and volume, which I try to recreate by placing the elements of the work at different levels. In this way, the shadows become real, changing the perception of the work according to the light it receives.

These are, perhaps, the keys to my work, along with color and the reduction of forms, creating works that are easy to read but with a deep aesthetic sense.

I was born in Segovia (Spain, 1969). I currently live and work in Logroño.
