My art is a reflection of my spiritual journey to discover myself, a process that typically starts with one point of inspiration—an idea, a memory, a scene that catches my eye and holds it, making its way into my dreams. I let this whirl in my imagination until I am called to the canvas, surrendering to it, letting it lead me to playful experimentation with palette, perspective, and placement, until I am one with what emerges. Painting becomes a reflection of my inner reality. As a new artist, my style is evolving, often breaking traditional rules of color and composition that I feel makes it identifiably unique.

I am self-taught artist. It all started with a dream—I found myself swimming in a sea of colors, my every movement causing them to swirl and mix, leaving me in a state of wonder. Then, a secret passage opened up into a gallery full of unique paintings, professionally hung as if in preparation for an exhibition. I looked closer to find my name signed on all of them. How strange! That was the first invitation, the one I ignored. 30 years and a corporate career later, the dream reappeared.
