Emme Mae

Emme Mae is a creative soul who naturally emerged from a family of celebrated artists and classical musicians. She was raised on the East coast and attended some of the finest schools. Art was always her favorite subject.

Inspired by unexpected beauty, Emme Mae appreciates the blurred lines of French Impressionism; enjoying the appearance of motion, movement, and dance. She has always been drawn to colors and shapes, especially in nature. Simplicity, balance and design are elements that impress her.

Emme Mae expresses her creativity through painting and photography. She began painting as a child, and finds the innocent joy in it unparalleled. She started shooting with a 35mm film camera when she was 16, and has been documenting compelling images ever since. As a purist, she prefers shooting with her Roleiflex, but she shoots digitally as well.

Emme Mae has an affinity for a turquoise ocean, and loves the sensation of swimming in the sea. Her heartfelt love of dogs and desire to help those in need is part of her mission. Her work, which is often filled with grace, light and compassion, reflects her awareness of the One-ness of all. It is her wish that it will stir you in the most mystical way.
