My art practice is wide and varied, incorporating digital image, video, photography, painting and object design.

There are two sides to my portfolio. On the one hand I am fascinated by form, shape and I love the simplicity of flat block colour. I find inspiration in the natural environment and also through my dreams at night. It is extremely satisfying to bring these visions to life. My colourful pieces are relaxing, harmonious and enjoyable. I hope my work inspires conversation. The abstract nature of some of my works allow the observer to immediately engage in a two-way dialogue with the artwork. This creates a talking piece in the home, office or public environments without being too confrontational.

While I also find beauty in the banal or ugly. I'm fascinated in things that are discarded. The everyday object, a dumpster filled with pre-loved junk. Or the mechanical monotony of an escalator that moves people day and night without question. These items and everyday occurrences are often boring and overlooked but they draw me in closer in order to observe a social scene or an automated environment in more detail. I want to encourage society to ponder their existence through waste and discarded objects. To ask themselve...

Angela is a self-taught artist and found comfort and joy in creating art work from an early age. Angela is a celebrated graduate of Melbourne’s renowned Swinburne University, one of the world’s leading design schools.

During her studies Angela demonstrated a high-level of skill in traditional art forms and was inspired by the seemingly limitless potential of the digital medium.

This combination of skills provides Angela with a unique ability to switch between digital and traditional techniques and also embark on exciting hybrid works.
