Anik Chainé

Born in Gatineau, Quebec (Canada).
I mostly find my inspiration in the cities, whether it's the perspective of skyscrapers or the poetic aspect of aging and deterioration of materials in urban areas. I like being absorbed by the rhythm of lines and geometrics of buildings as much as the colors of graffiti, crumbling walls and textures, signs and images of all sort. I like that they form an urban canvas that bring to contrast the aesthetic beauty of the formal and informal.
