RECOGNITION
Annie is a contemporary painter living and working in Canberra, Australia. She started her career with a Bachelor of Arts at ANU majoring in Art History. Her works are simple abstract representations of the subject matter. She paints in acrylics and and loves colour! 'I have always wanted to paint but my route has taken me a little longer. I feel most alive and connected when I’m being creative. I always start with a picture in mind but without fail the process of reproducing the image leads me on a different journey, only to arrive at an alternate destination. I’ve learnt to love the detour and I’m always surprised at the outcome.'
