Anthony Weber

Anthony Weber is an artist based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Weber’s work is not of a traditional academia or higher end art world standard. Weber values nontraditional and anti-institutional approaches to making and showing the work. This contrarian approach to being an artist is infuriating to most people searching for answers about the work however Weber requests viewers to bring their own interpretation skills upon inspection of the work.

Weber received an art degree from UW Parkside and it's doing wonders for opening doors in the blue collar job market in Milwaukee.

Weber has shown artwork on every continent on Earth with the exception of Antarctica. Due to homelessness and outright dysfunctional organizational skills a complete list of exhibitions of work is impossible to compile. However, the majority of shows were deliberately organized in non traditional spaces that are valued by the artist with the occasional gallery show when a pesky gallery owner guilt tripped hard enough. With that being said, nothing of prestigious value would be on the list anyway.
