Arjen Boerstra (Heerenveen 1967, The Netherlands) combines performance, installation, movie and photography.History, memory and identity are starting-points for his projects.
In 1996 he reconstructs the attic room he had in his parents' house. A step that leads to mental space and freedom to work with autobiographical motives.
In recent projects Arjen Boerstra transforms into different characters.
