Arkady Barnabov

Upon finishing his education, Arkady Barnabov began working as a professional artist in Moscow. Since 1999, Arkady Barnabov has worked on a variety of creative projects in Israel, where he now resides. His works have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions in Russia and Israel.
His artistic expression has gone through many phases over the years resulting in a highly personal approach and perspective. He is never content with standing still and is always looking for their next engaging project.


Arkady Barnabov was born on June 7, 1958 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

In 1992-1999. lived and worked in the town of Chudovo, Novgorod Region; in 1995-1999 - a freelance correspondent for the Rodina newspaper, Chudovsky District, where he published articles and caricatures.

Since 1999 he has been living in Israel.

In 1981, Arkady Barnabov graduated with a Master's Degree of Arts from the Moscow State Art University V.I.Surikova and was a student of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan winner, Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya and People's Artist of Russia winner O. M. Savostyuk. After which he served in the Soviet army until 1983. Then he worked in Moscow - in Agitplakat and in the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets", where he published cartoons, caricatures, and illustrations.

2015 - Participation in the project of M. N. Lantsov “The image of M. Yu. Lermontov in the visual arts. Portraits ", paintings:" Lermontov in the Caucasus "and" M. Yu. Lermontov ".
2015 - Participant in the International Exhibition of Caricatures in Haifa.


He publishes lyric poetry and rubaiyat in the literary anthology "Sails", in the literary magazine "Beginning".
