I learned to draw and paint by myself. Most of the collection is highly detailed bird images.Having tried watercolor, pastel, acrylic - I chose oil as the most manageable tool for expressing my ideas. No, I didn’t study on purpose, but methodically and scrupulously adopted the experience of famous artists as well as the modern ones. I am sincerely convinced that we are not the main ones on this planet, not the main link in the ecosystem. I like to think of my paintings as a request to pause, to pay attention to small details around us and to the natural world, to respect for its strength. Civilization seems to continue this rapid leap into overuse, materialism, destruction, and general neglect, but I think this step can be interrupted. That is why I delve into really intense details so much, and therefore I like to depict birds and the smallest moments and make them larger and more ornate to emphasize their importance. I really enjoy wildlife painting with a constant look, staring at the viewer, demanding attention and affirming its presence.
