As we call our time the In/Form/ation age, we mainly mean zeroes and ones, jumping from one machine to another. But the word In/Form/ation suggests, that the content is hidden in the form. And wood is a great example of this: the annual rings are telling the story about the climate conditions, in which the tree grew. I take content from the mediascapes, like news, websites, reality shows, social media and others. I slice them into the basic pieces, than my computer controlled machine tattoo the wood with them. It sometimes uses a marker, other times a drill, to do it.
