NEOBRUTALISM is an avant-garde movement founded by Sompasongsack Douangmanivanh in 2016. NEOBRUTALISM results from the observation of avant-garde Artists, Architects, Fashion Designers, Musicians exploring new directions in their work and from the observation of our time. NEOBRUTALISM explore four ideas : 1. The idea of brutalism (purity an authenticity) 2. The idea of minimalism (essentialism) 3. The idea of obscurity (expression of our time) 4. The idea of the future (expression of the future) NEOBRUTALISM explores the tradition of the past with a vision of the future. NEOBRUTALISM is a new expression of modernity.
