#MeToo Cork Series

Each piece in this cork series is based on a phrase pulled from Art Forum's former editor in chief, Michelle Kuo. Why does this matter? She announced her exit on October 25, 2017, hours after the resignation of the magazine’s publisher, Knight Landesman, who has been accused of sexual harassment. As a practicing abstract artist who has filed two sexual harassment complaints in previous years, I was shocked to learn that the need for #MeToo had reached the fine art world. Sexual harassment does not only spawn from Hollywood. It is sadly everywhere, and, I am proud to support Michelle Kuo and each person affected by these terrible acts.
