abstract nature photography

My education in fine art photography and developping with work groups abstracting my surrounding in black and white always left a lot of room for individual perception and interpretation. But I was determined to an abstract vision by my teacher Otto Steinert and his vivid ideas of > subjective photography< , which turned out to be my basic orientation. When I started my work cycle "nature morte" in 2004 it was the logic continuation in my photography. I was recognising nature as source of graphic resemblance and total beauty even in its so called waste. The first motives were things I found, dead plants, branches and leaves, but also small animals like dried insects. Their frozen and bizarre appearance fascinated me. I collected the
