Circle Vibes

The painting series Circle Vibes are about vibrations and time levels around action and mediation. The newspaper serves as a painting surface which provides the space for the vibrations. Just as a falling drop creates waves on a surface of water, the information in the daily newspaper with its actual events provokes the colour, shape and the painting gesture - circular, and wave-like. This intention of releasing force and movement is shown in the paintings of the Circle Vibes series.
