Fusion

These works belong to my oLa collection, an extensive collection of symbols/shapes that I designed after they have appeared in my dreams. Together they form a kind of unknown yet still familiar language, in which each symbol has a kind of open, endless quality, and each one can also be read as an individual story. Sub-series to which these works belong: Fusion. This ‘Fusion’ series runs in parallel with my oLa collection, and was inspired by the cut-outs of Matisse, who is one of my favourite artists. This series is a colourful merging of different oLa shapes and own photos.
