Hide me in Shadows
OSHO said that "creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence".
I’d like to think of my work as a rebellion against the way in which the naked body, especially the female, has been portrayed in the media and in art over the last few decades. I believe that the nude form is one of the greatest tools we have to tackle sexual education, stigmas surrounding nudity and the future of women's rights in our modern world.
In this collection, chiaroscuro (the use of strong contrasts between light and dark) highlights the beauty of the nude form, exquisite in its naturalness, whilst hiding the identity of the model, thereby detracting focus from “the model”.
