The Modernism Series

The Modernism Series comprises of simple abstract compositions that were inspired by Piet Mondrian, one of the founders of the Dutch modern movement. He is recognized for the simplicity of his abstract works. He dramatically simplified the elements of his art to reflect what he saw as the spiritual order underlying the visible world, creating a clear, universal aesthetic language within his canvases. In this series I use red, black, yellow, green and white rectangles and squares to reflect Mondrian’s concept. Minimalistic simplicity and geometry offering a clean and powerful presence in any home, office or hospitality space.
