Abstract Paintings

I like my paintings to have their own look and identity. I consider my work to be a contemporary version of a mid-century modern style. My technique involves the use of geometric shapes and layer over layer of paint applied with a variety of brushes and other painting implements. Many of these implements have been specially developed for a specific painting or a series of paintings. I create paintings that I like to have displayed in my home, art that makes a statement when you walk in a room, and paintings that coordinate with both mid-century and current trends in modern interior design.
