JPN // Japan SERIES

Those paintings were all made when I was living, studying art and traveling across Japan. Most of them were made in Kyoto and its surroundings and they all depict what stroke me the most whilst I was there. They are all extracted from the sketchbook I was carrying everywhere with me. Every country I go to then gets its own little series of painting in the same format on the same Egyptian paper I always get from the same small paper shop in Paris.
