San Francisco begins the day foggy and brooding, then sits with journal and coffee, counting reasons to live, summoning bravery, gathering wits, and then she comes alive. In the span of 24 hours, she is bright and clear, then slinking and mysterious, hot, wet, cold, humid, parched, golden, silver, dark, darker, darker. She is innovative, she takes risks, she skids down hills and crooked streets. She is empathy, she is live and let live.
