OSTER+KOEZLE's series of works 'a r c h i t e c t u r e s' looks at parts of completely photographed rooms through the cut-outs of a digitally and virtually erected monochrome colored 'wall' standing in front of it. Their colors and the shapes of the cut-out are freely chosen, the space itself or, more precisely, the visible parts of it remain untouched (except for toning, curves and blotches) in photographic tradition. As a result, the perception of these parts of the room 'turns' into a sculptural-looking form against a colored background.
