Take a Breath Abstract Landscapes

Inspired by trees. The collection includes twenty three mixed media paintings that are separated in two distinct series. The Blue Series includes thirteen original paintings. They are a palette of blues, grays, sepia, browns, and white. They are darker in tone and mood and lighter on texturing. The Blue Series abstracts and distorts tree landscapes. The Green series consists of ten smaller mixed media original paintings. Highly textured pieces, the series is a palette of browns, greens, and whites. Using tree bark as inspiration, each painting is infused with the manifestation of physical active breathing.
