In more understandable terms that is, respectively: 'Competition' (fight, or coping with what you are confronted with), 'Luck' (or coincidence, probability and serendipity), 'Mimesis' (or imitation, simulation and make-belief) and 'Thrill' (excitation, also in the sense of anxiety, loss of control, altering perception).
