Forgotten archives, lost memories and decaying imagery are the focus of my illustrative practice. Uncovering and researching narratives buried within collections of found photography inspire my mixed media works. I have recently completed a masters degree in Illustration at Manchester School of Art achieving a distinction and in 2017 achieved a 1st class degree in Illustration with Animation from the same institution. I have shown my work at the Royal Academy of Arts down in London as part of their summer exhibition in 2017, 2018 & 2021 and have also had my imagery used in a project run by film director Danny Boyle. In April 2021, I was selected to become an associate member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts after being a graduate member of the academy for three years after being awarded the MAFA Graduate Award at my Manchester School of Art BA degree show. Based in the Peak District, I work from my home studio in a small village. When I’m not in the studio, you will probably find me at Elephantstones Gallery, where I have a selection of landscape works for sale.
