About The Artwork
This collage's main image comes from an old museum catalogue, from Jean Fouquet's painting The Virgin and the child with angels. I wanted the Madonna to be in the nature, wanted her to become the queen of nature. And this collage has an interesting detail, that is the one of the ermine; trapped in a green plastic net, referring to what is happening in our world today. *All my collages are originals, hand cut, made with all acid free materials. All of the papers I used are vintage magazines, catalogues and contemporary ones. I do not print anything, being all material original.
