Art Description

Collage: Paper, Paint on Paper.

During the global pandemic, while we were in lock down, I was reading how families were unable to say goodbye to their families as they died. I read how children were orphaned. And how ice skating rinks were being used as temporary morgues. This work in may ways represents the River Styx which separates the living from the dead. In the distance is a chapel with coffins lined up outside the door.
