ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This work highlights a female archetype of The Healer. The Healer calls us to care for ourselves as well as others. She recognizes that the body and soul are intimately connected. Considered a totem piece, this work of art is meant to heal the parts of you that need nurturing. Savor the slow moments and indulge in your senses. Faded gradients are inspired by Los Angeles sunrises and sunsets. Bold elements of nature explore the healing aspects of flora. With a protagonist approach featuring creative portraiture, this image is filled with desire and passion. Digital collages are influenced by the great works of Hiroaki Takahashi, Utagawa Kuniyoshi and Seiyo Soka Zufu. INSPIRATION: My inspiration comes through during meditation and breathwork practices. I hope viewers connect to a sense of inner peace through my work. My focus is to embody optimism and hope through photographic and painterly works that integrate figurative elements, nuanced color with design to create visual vibration, echoing life, within confident, solid compositions. Printed on Entrada Cotton Rag Paper with a 3" mat and a white shadow box frame.
