Chess (2017) is a collage art piece featured on the theme of chess board. The squares are replicated as per 8 x 8 chess game board. All squares are taken from a chess guide book published in 1934. They are torn from the old book and thus forming a unique and natural shape than each other. A variety of colors are assigned to all the squares to create a harmonized contrasting pattern. The natural shapes and colors together also gives viewer an illusion of depth and shallowness. Unframed. Signed and dated from both sides. Rolled in tube for shipping.
