I seek in my work the relationship between figure, space and light, to arrive at solutions similar to staging, with an obvious urban suggestion in most of my works. In these there is a human presence, and the ultimate goal is to reveal the ambiguity and suggestion of life. I focus on the myths of the city, women, the historical iconography of art, and sometimes even the landscape is subjected to a theatrical intention, with forms of representation between figuration and abstraction. Frequently, an urban environment, even the succinct representation of a bar, is decomposed into spots, textures, gestures and abstract geometries dissolved in memory.
