ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work went through some metamorphosis stages, after chopping up my old collage work in which I was no longer in love with or work I never knew how to ‘finish.’ I then mounted them on yet another old work of mine. Letting go was key. It has become pretty heavy by this time due to the many layers and textures it possesses. Collage of my collage

If painting is not available, I would cut and paste. If collage is not available, I would sew. I intuitively choose ways in which I can articulate my emotions and deeper insights, that are specific to this moment in a pure manner without a logical mechanistic thought process.
