About The Artwork

This Art series consists of 5 images, exhibited on October 2014 at "360 minutes art" Warsaw.   "Gridlock" follows the strong involvement of machines as main actors and analogy. This serial is all about water as expression medium of fears, hopes and dreams. Combining the famous dilemma “Do machines dream of electric sheep?” with our own observations from the cities as a crucible of social and technological mediums, we have created 5 visual time stamps. SOLD on October 2014

SA-PO is the artist team of Sven Sauer and Igor Posavec. In their works they develop illusions that put the viewer’s perception to the test. Again and again, the two artists are thematically pulled to mega-cities such as Tokyo, Shanghai or New York. Their works show symptoms of a society and the tempo of a technology development that has exceeded the measure which a civilization is capable to absorb. The result is an exhilarating rationalist romanticism for a civilization which is obsessed of being addicted to reality… Rich in images, the artists tell of the lonely search for identity and intimacy amid the global brand epidemic.
