ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A series of works is a collection of thoughts on the ability of contemporary art to influence the surrounding reality. That there is no one-sided interaction with the world, with society. But what are these threads for us - the basis, the foundation that will provide support and warmth of the mastered experience, or rigid fetters that do not give an opportunity to develop? All works in this series are made on the basis of thermal printed canvas and threads. Photos of the Ural nature after human impact on it were made specially for this project by a photograph by Evgenia Shchukareva. In a series of 10 works Canvas, thermal printing, threads Variations of images and sizes to order are possible. The work was created in a characteristic style, using a thread to increase the volume and give the work the warmth of manual labor. The thread as a connection between eras and generations can be traced in a series of works by the author. Work size length 145 cm width 92 cm Have a good view of the series of works. My genealogy has greatly influenced my work. My ancestors (blacksmiths, weavers, spinners) seemed to have passed on to me the skills of the craft, which I turn into art. It's like the evolution of memory, the interpenetration of the past and the present. I create pictures because I live my life through physical actions. I am a very tactile person so in my works the volume of material and the warmth of the threads. Colors of paints can show only external, and threads can show internal content, sensuality. My paintings connect our origins with a new reality. They have no obligation. They give ground for thought, make you turn to feelings, get distracted from the routine.
