In the olden days they take part in planting, caring for and harvesting of produce, they also contribute in conveying the produce home from farm. In the night they get busy, sorting out the produce and merchandize or probably the ones they got on trade preparing them for the market the next day. In the morning they set out very early to distribute this product to fellow Marchants, house wives, traders who from far and wide come to buy.

Biography: Pearl Adebisi is an accomplished artist renowned for her mastery in the intricate art of embroidery. Born 17th December, 1994 in Akure, Ondo State, Pearl's journey into the world of creativity began at a young age and later went to study further at Obafemi Awolowo Univerity, ile-Ife, Osun State where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Applied arts in 2018. Inspired by her mother and women around her, she embarked on a creative path that eventually lead to the captivating realm of embroidery. Throughout her artistic evolution, Pearl has honed her skills to transform threads and fabrics into intricate tapestries of emotion and beauty. Guided by a passion for her gender, she breathe life into each piece with meticulous attention to detail, vibrant color palettes, and a profound understanding of texture. Pearl's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions; 3rd Ibadan artfair, Affordable Art Online gallery, the initiative for arts and culture 54 magazine road, Ibadan, Oyo State, SisterARTS 2nd international art and cultural exhibition, Gemini art gallery, Onikan, Lagos State, Life, Art and Nature, a maiden art exhibition at shodex gallery Anthony busstop, Lagos State e.t.c. and galleries; Zero Prive gallery, Ikoyi Lagos, Prince Shyllon Museum, Anthony, Lagos State e.t.c captivating art enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
