Gods of ancient tribes Collage

Alexey Samoylenko (5th of April 1980) is a talented Ukrainian photographer, who has many victories both in national and international photo competitions. His works have been exhibited in European art galleries and are currently stored in private collections in Ukraine, Germany and England. Alexey Samoylenko took up photography in 2008 and for a long time he positioned himself as a landscape photographer. During this period, Alexey Samoylenko achieved great results and was seeking to discover a new facet of creativity, combining art photography and collage. Reflections on contemporary photography and analysis of the film industry lead the author to a new idea, where the photography is presented as an element for the general concept of “entertainment”. "Entertainment" is a form of photography that combines all the basic ideas about modern photography: art photography, collage, digital art. Since 2015, Alexey Samoylenko begins a long-term work on his own project related to the history of Ukraine. “History of Ukraine” is a large-scale author’s photo project that uses art photography, collage, digital art to tell the history of Ukraine starting from the 40th millennium BC till XV century AD. The main goal of the project is to visualize a historical era.
