Going Banana 1 Collage

Fruit and vegetable papers had been developed for an art project. The concept was to create some material for an art piece that can be eaten at the end of the exhibit. The concept of sustainability is an important element with this line of work. For the production of these papers I do not use any kind of glues. Fruit and veggiepapers are only made of fruits and/or vegetables. The production of these papers is done by hand and is very time consuming. In this piece of art purple carrots and paper made of kohlrabi are combind as inlay and permanently mounted onto acid-free paper. The art comes framed, frame size is 40 x 30 cm. Wall sized installations of fruit- and veggiepapers had been shown in selected art galleries in Europe.
