Art Description

Collage: Color and Paper on Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric) and Paper.

I have been picking the flowers for the herbarium since ever. But I have never had one. I do not know why. The flowers stayed between the pages in books, forgotten, unused. Collecting went hand in hand together with herborizing for homemade tea and collecting of four-leave-clovers. On one side the usage and the other utopia.

I recognise some of the plants, the others are unknown to me.

I attach flowers on the paper by sewing on the machine. I work with the accident because I embroider the picture from the other side, I do not see the result immediately. I combine two different threads. The flowers are imprisoned on the paper. The embroidery finishes them, supports them, absorbs them or suppresses them. I draw on some of them. It changes the dried faded plants into fantastic unreal flowers. Additional text is short information about the profit and effects of the specific herb.
