Inspired by mental health & illness to help continue the conversation. This 24" x 36" mixed media painting on canvas, represents a girl hiding her demons and not dealing with them full force. The girl's holding a balloon which represents her dreams/hopes. The balloon is made up of at least 25+ plastic unicorns toys which represent possibility. The background consist of comics as well as graffiti which represent her youth. She wants to be free from her demons, to follow her dreams. unicorns = dreams/possibilities comics = youth (used to collect in my teens) - Unframed (recommend to leave as is due to plastic toys) - Includes attached wire on the back of canvas for hanging. - Gallery Wrapped Traditional Canvas

Pandora Owl was born and raised outside of Toronto, Ontario. Started her journey, building a career in advertising until she decided to make a leap into following her art passion. Her art focuses on mental health & illness in order to help comfort those who suffer from it as well as exposing it to those who don’t. She leverages mixed media in order to tell her stories, often referencing her youth by incorporating items such as comics and or toys; a style she developed in her art class back in high school. Her textured mixed media art has many layers that can be seen and felt but most importantly ignite and continue the conversation of mental health as it’s increasingly making its way to the forefront.
