My newest “Spectrum Series” uses custom coloured silkscreened paper with an iridescent finish to embody natural landscape elements in a different and unique manner. Taking cues from modern glass buildings, sea and sky, the series explores reflections both natural and manmade. Horizon has been inspired by the new large scale buildings in the City of London, the reflections and views looking up from street level. The silver section shimmers in the light and is contrasted with the raw steel frames. Working with a specialist silkscreen printer, I developed custom colours that have a fade in them in different colour-ways and then arranged them to form the artworks. The paper has a protective coating on it to make it lightfast. The pieces are mounted on dibond panels and then framed in custom made raw steel frames. This allows the reflections to be viewed on the inside edge of the frame and the external section of the frame will over time develop a rich patina. There are heavy duty hooks installed on the back of the frames for attaching to wall hooks.

ARTIST STATEMENT In my artistic journey, precision is not just a method; it's a language, and each cut of paper is a carefully chosen word. My craft is collage, an exploration of vibrant hues and geometric forms, but it's more than arranging shapes and colors; it's a dialogue between architecture, emotion, and personal narrative. In my most recent work, I have been exploring working with paper to create sculpture based narratives. This can been seen in the new Refuge Series made in 2024. Each piece is a deliberate composition, shaped by memories, celebrations, and the intricate dance of colors that guide our emotions. The fusion of geometric abstraction with personal narratives creates a unique visual language, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of precision and emotion within each piece. In my work, I delve into the profound impact of color on our perceptions. Saatchi Art recognized my contribution, selecting me as one of 21 Artists to collect in 2021. The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition welcomed my participation in 2021, and my artistic exploration has left its mark in solo, joint, group exhibitions and art fairs. From the UK to the Americas, Europe, the Far East, and Australia, my creations have found homes, unraveling stories of color, context, and human emotion. Welcome to my world of collages, where every cut tells a story, and every color evokes an emotion.
