Ajin No is a painter currently based in San Francisco, originally from Seoul, Korea. She has a BFA and an MFA in Fine Art Painting from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, USA Her main art mediums of painting include acrylic, oil, and mixed media. Her paintings have been included multiple years in the Spring Show at the Academy of Art University. Ajin has exhibited her artworks at SFWA Artist Gallery, Sacramento Fine Arts Center, Mirus Gallery, Sun Gallery and online art galleries as Light space & Time, colors of humanity art gallery, Art gallery 118, Gallery Ring, Art Room gallery, and Camelback gallery. In 2021, two pieces were purchased by Hyatt Regency SF Downtown SOMA, and have been hanging in the hotel lounge. Ajin says that she feels more secure when she is in the city than in nature. And she gets a lot of inspiration from the moment of immersion that she spent in the common buildings and urban landscapes around her. She also says the city is another nature for modern people. The city is the most sincere and familiar place for us who live today. In her paintings, the city should not just be a dreary, gloomy space decorated with gray concrete, but a place where life dwells, dreams of hope, and finds rest.
