ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Piece of work based on Light Vessel 21. One of the seagoing lightships which once protected our shores as part of the our small islands grand tradition of sea safety and lifeboats. The materials were gathered from the ship as it was being converted over a two year period to a floating arts centre. A reminder of a proud place in our maritime history.
