My work is made by wool ( from sheep and tinted by differents colors or shades)to create a textile by felting it.The fibers of carded wool, thanks to the reaction of hot water and soap, stand up and overlap each other to create the felt. The material is irreversibly transformed, freezing time into the form, the mouvement into the material. Felt is an organic material whose physical insulating, heat conducting and protective properties That makes us think of a skin. It enjoys a strong presence. My work plays with this physical materiality, kind of spiritual or vibrational. This work is an exploration of a poetic way to make images. Each work is laminated on a solid wooden frame.
