ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Fantasy landscape, directly painted, without a sketch or plan, intuitive. I used a wooden underground. First I created an underground with torn papers and some texture and colour is still visible on the painting. It inspired me for creating this abstract landscape with acrylic paint in many layers, I also added subtle blue glittering paint to emphasize the water floating. I imagined trees, their branches and movement. Nature with water, sand, trees. It's visualized in an expressive and abstract way. As I have seen many paintings by Monet and Van Gogh, they obviously insired me. The collage is 20 x 20 cm. The handmade frame size is 31 x 31 cm. The painting is protected with varnish.
