About The Artwork
I like the painting of Rubens and want to give him a more modern expression. Show, whats the matter but without beeing to vulgar. Variation 2 is cruder than Variation, the collage bringing the hole issue more in the present days. As I come from the print media as a comunicationdesigner often I questioned myself whats the core of my life with all the overwhelming mediainformation around me. The collage symbolize the information-background-noise that every day is a part of my life. The overpaintet issue will allways let show through in different degrees this "noise". The opacity symbolize the degree, how much I am myself aware, that there is no escape for me from the surrounding influences.
