MORE AND MORE Collage

More and more people have the ability with the use of the internet and social media to say more and more, and in my opinion they are talking about less and less. This piece tells of the noise, the constant twittering, the vociferous ability to scream about how one's life is online yet imbedded in this artwork a quieter voice talks. I have no need to compete with others but through my love of words I can at least express myself in this way. I am fascinated by how far hyperbole can go. How, 'amazing' and how, 'wonderful' can life get or is it just life being normal and we express it differently? I have used many cut out words to give a texture and a background to this artwork and they happily flow over the hand cut letters which appear in relief and more strongly in shadow.
