Born in a tiny hamlet, Llangattock Lingoed in South Wales Denise moved to Malta at the age of 10. Her marriage to an artist created her great interest in art where she started to develop her 'mixed media' style. In the 1980's she moved to Bournemouth in the UK and further developed her style whilst managing a studio gallery in Poole Pottery. The wilderness years followed where Denise struggled to bring up her 3 children after separation from her husband. There was just no time for art! Denise who had loved Cornwall for years moved there when her children had flown the nest, they visit frequently!
